In AQT we like to think of our customers as long-term partners and always look to establish lasting cooperation, which goes well beyond your basic business transaction. Good example of such an approach at work can be the projects we are currently doing with HP. More then a year ago we were involved in the first HP project as, because of the shift in the internal policy, HP started to outsource most of the QC services to the third parties and was looking for the reliable QC vendor. The experience was challenging for both HP and us. Clearly understanding the importance of establishing strong foundation at the very beginning of the relationship, AQT has put a lot of effort in making the transition as smooth as possible. Our highly qualified staff managed to understand the specifics of the HP products at once - in matter of days of on-site work followed up by couple of weeks of e-mail discussion the team was up to speed. The unique mix of management and technical skills of the AQT's Senior Quality Engineers helped them to quickly build the working relationships with their HP counterparts and enabled them to respond promptly to the changes in the project schedules. The Rational Unified Process (by Rational Software www.rational.com), which is the basis for the AQT's internal procedures, has guaranteed that the project was done in time and on budget. Building on the success of the pilot project AQT has since then significantly grown the scope of the worldwide cooperation with HP and is at the moment working on multiple projects both in Europe and US. Our current projects with HP comprise but are not limited to: Quality plans development; Test bench environment development; Acceptance tests; Microsoft WHQL certification tests; Compatibility and regional testing; Benchmarking; Functional testing and defect analysis; Automated regression tests. In order to support and further develop the on-going partnership AQT has established the permanent local presence in Barcelona (Spain). The AQT staff permanently located at HP premises strategically positions us to better understand the customer needs and allow to significantly reduce the service delivery timeframe. Our ability to meet deadlines and provide the highest quality results even after numerous unexpected changes in schedule has earned us the high marks from the HP executives and made us the preferred QC services vendor for HP.
